INTERESTING FACTS:
Lippi is the son of Fra Filippo Lippi.
He was an apprentice of Botticelli.
Lippi along with Botticelli, Perugino, and Ghirlandaio worked on a fresco for Lorenzo de Medici. Medici later advised Cardinal Carafa to have Lippi decorate the family chapel.
When Lippi was buried, all the artist workshops of Florence closed out of respect for him.

NOTABLE WORKS:
Apparition of the Virgin to St Bernard, Adoration of the Magi.
